Please take the time to read this information to be fully informed about our policies. Making a reservation implies agreement with these policies
Payment: 100% at time of booking. We have a PayPal account that allows you to use what ever method of payment you wish, you don't have to have a PayPal account and there are no fees to you.
Rates: Current rates are posted on the web site and depend on the season. Rates are subject to change without notice.
Cancellations: Full refund for cancellations with 2 weeks notice. Less than 2 weeks notice you will receive a credit for a future available date.
Check in/out: Arrival time from 3:00 pm. If the tent is not occupied the night before your arrival, you may be able to arrive early. Please let us know if you intend to arrive before 3:00 pm. Departure time is on or before 11:00 am, your prompt departure is appreciated so we can prepare the tent for the next guests. If your tent is not booked the night of your departure, a later departure time may be possible.
Smoking: Smoking is not allowed inside the tent.
Pets: If travelling with your four legged companion please let us know in advance. The well behaved pooch is always welcome, but must be under control at all times so as not to interfere with our live stock. Please pick up after your dog.
Damage, missing items: Any damage to the tent or its contents or missing item(s) will be charged to your final bill at repair or replacement cost. If there is such a charge, an explanation will be mailed to you within 15 days.
Plumbing: Please do not put any feminine hygiene products in the toilet. The Composting Toilet only accepts human waste and toilet paper to work to it's best advantage. The compost produced during your visit will be happily absorbed by the local trees after 6 - 8 weeks.
Cancellations by The Red Snowshoe: In the unlikely event that we will have to make any changes to confirmed reservations, we will advise you at the earliest possible date. If this does happen, you will be given a full refund. We will also attempt to locate another facility for you. We will not be liable for any further obligations or claims by you.
Risks/Safety: As on any working Farm there are conditions in and around the property that may pose hazards such as the creek, barnyards, steep hills, and wildlife. The Red Snowshoe and its owners do not assume any responsibility for injuries or damage resulting from your failure to use due caution. Candles are not allowed in the Tent due to the fire hazard. Feel free to use the supplied oil lanterns on your porch deck.
Repairs: Please let us know of any problems or needed repairs in the Tent or Wash House and we will fix it as soon as possible.
